Hi my name is Silvia, and I love cooking and sharing my passion with others. In this experience we will prepare together five appetizers typical of the Lucchese and Tuscan tradition, using seasonal ingredients, such as tomatoes during the summer season and cabbage in the winter season.

We will have fun together making panzanella and bruschetta with oil and garlic, and then crostini with livers, focaccia, and vegetable pie.

Sylvia was wonderful. Warm and welcoming into her home. Teaching us her family recipe of gnocchi, tiramisu and explaining the best way to make real ragu. I highly recommend her and this experience in Lucca.

"I love to host and take care of the table, I always try to create a mise en place with some ingredient that recalls the menu or seasonality. I prefer to cook dishes of land, typical of the Tuscan tradition, I do not try too much in desserts... but only not to eat too many!"
