Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
Maestro Puccini, a great food lover, inspires us to discover the recipes he loved as we listen to his music in the garden.
Spelt soup in bean broth, a tasty dish also served warm. Beans al fiasco, on toasted bread, topped with extra virgin olive oil and fresh spring onions. Then we will prepare an appetizer with at least two variations of bruschetta (tomato, fettunta or lard), with local cold cuts and cheeses and delicious whole grain bread. As wine we will offer you a prosecco directly from the producer. To conclude we will taste a typical dessert of our grandparents: peaches in wine in addition to the dishes prepared during the course.

- My husband and I had an incredible experience with Monica and her husband. The house was lovely, as we made food on the back patio. We started by making the dough and then while the dough raised, we had some appetizers that were local to their area. We had incredible conversation, although somewhat challenging with the language, but we all did incredibly well. We then made the pasta and the sauces for the noodles. It was an incredible night! And one that I would recommend to anyone.
- Monica and her husband were wonderful hosts and took great care and time to teach and create a fun experience.
- We had such a lovely time with Monica during our cooking class! She treated us like family, and served us to some of the most delicious food we have had in Italy! She was a great instructor, and made the experience both fun and educational, and really gave the class a personal touch! I highly recommend Monica for an authentic Italian cooking experience!!
- This experience was wonderful! We were paired with Monica who warmly welcomed us into her home and gave us a night to remember! We started by analyzing the unlimited number of available Italian flour before selecting the base of our pasta. She was patient and strict at the same time - exactly what you'd expect from an Italian teacher. We greatly enjoyed rolling the dough, making the sauces, cutting the pasta, and drinking the wine! Monica and her husband were super entertaining with their local stories and jubilant attitude. I was full for days afterwards. 10/10 would cook again!
- Our afternoon with Monica was wonderful! It was not only authentic and educational but Monica made us feel like family! She took the time to make sure we understood the techniques and we rested with good food, good company and good wine in between! Paolo, Monica’s husband was wonderful as well. He worked hard behind the scene to make this a memorable experience!
