Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
I have been a Cesarina since 2022 and I love to open the doors of my home and kitchen to guests from all over the world, welcoming them as longtime friends. During this experience, we will prepare real Italian pizza together, stuffed with a few but excellent ingredients: tomato, mozzarella and basil, in full respect of tradition. For those who like to experiment, we will have fun adding a few more ingredients...but without overdoing it, because the essence of Italian pizza lies in its simplicity! Once baked, we will enjoy our freshly made pizza, accompanying it with a good glass of wine. For the little ones and those who prefer, a soft drink will also be available. An authentic and convivial experience, perfect for sharing flavors and traditions!
A wonderful experience. Could not have been any better. Silvia is a wonder cook and better person.

We loved our cooking class with Silvia. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Lucca.

Silvia was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend this experience with her in Lucca! She was an excellent teacher and the food she taught us to make was phenomenal. She also provided us with tons of local recommendations for shopping, food, and gelato, which were excellent as well!

Silvia was fabulous! We loved the food shopping, the tips only a true Italian would impart, her beautiful home, her lovely hospitality and of course, the food and its preparation. The experience was everything we had hoped it would be and more!

"I love to host and take care of the table, I always try to create a mise en place with some ingredient that recalls the menu or seasonality. I prefer to cook dishes of land, typical of the Tuscan tradition, I do not try too much in desserts... but only not to eat too many!"
