Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Bruschetta with seasonal vegetables
  • Tagliatelle with ragu sauce
  • Chicken cutlets with mushrooms or lemon sauce
  • Tiramisu

Join me at my home, with a spacious garden, shaded gazebo, and nearby olive grove—the perfect setting for an authentic Italian experience full of flavor and tradition. Together, we’ll prepare each recipe step by step, and I’ll provide written instructions so you can recreate them at home. We’ll start with a classic Italian appetizer: bruschetta topped with seasonal vegetables from my garden and our own extra-virgin olive oil, served with spreads on homemade bread. Next, we’ll make fresh egg tagliatelle with my family’s traditional meat ragù, followed by chicken scaloppine with mushrooms or lemon. We’ll finish with the timeless classic tiramisù or, if you prefer, a delicious amaretto variation.

A very special experience. Rossana and Alberto were the perfect hosts welcoming us into their home and teaching us so much about Italian cooking. Our teenage daughters loved the class and are excited to make their own pasta when we return home. This really was one of the highlights of our trip and we’ve had many. Thank you Rossana, Alberto and of course Arte. It was a privilege to spend time with you all.

Rossana, Alberto and Arte were excellent hosts that welcomed us into their beautiful home. Rossana led our family smoothly through the whole preparation process. While waiting for everything to cook, Alberto took us for a lovely stroll through their olive trees and garden, explaining the family history. Dinner was served in their backyard covered patio and we were sent off with a hug and full bellies. Everyone loved the whole experience and it was the highlight of our trip for the five of us, including three boys (15, 14 and 11).

Rossana and Alberto were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed their company that we stay longer than the 3 hours. Felt like we have been friends forever. We learned a lot and loved the hands on experience. The pesto for our pasta was delicious. The apps were yummy as well, the bruschetta with creamy pesto grilled peaches and walnuts was fantastic. The tomatoes and basil from the family garden were delicious and well as the family made olive oil. The limoncello Tiramisu was unbelievable! Their home was beautiful as well as the yard where we ate all of the food that was prepared. Rossana’s home limoncello was the beat we ever had. Our family has two new friends!! Highly recommend

Prachtige ervaring geweest. Bedankt, Ludovicus

We had an absolutely wonderful cooking workshop with Rosanna and her husband. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome. Everything was spotlessly clean and hygienic, and Rosanna explained every step of the cooking process with great knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm. She shared many useful tips and techniques, and there was plenty of variety throughout the workshop. We learned so much while having a great time. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and friendly. Rosanna and her husband are such kind and welcoming people, and their lovely dog made the experience even more special. While our lasagna was baking in the oven, we enjoyed a tour of their beautiful garden filled with olive trees. It was a wonderful addition to the experience and gave us a glimpse of the beautiful surroundings. At the end of the workshop, we received all the recipes to take home, along with many extra cooking tips so we can recreate the dishes ourselves. The best part was sitting down together in the garden to enjoy everything we had prepared. The food was absolutely delicious, and sharing the meal together made the experience even more memorable. We would highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting the area. It is an authentic, fun, educational, and delicious experience that you shouldn’t miss. Thank you, Rosanna and your husband, for your warm hospitality and for creating such a special day. We will cherish the memories!

I prefer simple dishes made with just a few wholesome, seasonal ingredients, often harvested directly from my own vegetable garden and orchard. I love to enhance the authentic flavors of the land using extra virgin olive oil that we produce ourselves. My cooking is rooted in traditional Tuscan cuisine, but I also enjoy experimenting: I create original recipes that I carefully jot down in my personal recipe book, built over time with love and passion.
