Discover the authentic flavors of Bari with a unique cooking experience! In this cooking class, I will guide you in preparing some typical dishes from the Bari tradition. We will start with semolina tagliatelle, locally known as "lanc d cas," which we will dress with a delicious sauce made from fresh local fish. Then, we will move on to cavatelli, one of the most beloved pastas in Puglia, perfectly paired with cime di rapa, a classic of Bari cuisine. To conclude with sweetness, we will prepare tiramisù in its traditional version. During the lesson, I will offer you a delicious homemade aperitif, and at the end of the class, we will sit down together to enjoy the dishes we’ve made. My family and I can’t wait to welcome you!

- This cooking class was absolutely incredible! Sara our chef and her daughter Valeria were so kind and informative about the dishes and local food we prepared! It was so much fun to roll up your sleeves and actually work for your lunch! Cannot recommend this cooking class enough! It was absolutely incredible!
- We had a great time cooking, and eating with Sara and her family. We had the opportunity to learn more about and try some traditional Barese dishes that we didn't find at restaurants.
- Cooking with Sara in her home was a fantastic experience. She shared her knowledge of Italian cooking and the secrets and techniques for success. She was well organized, the sauces for the pastas we made were done in advance. We totally expect we’ll be able to recreate what we prepared with her when we return home. Her cooking was done with love and we were able to share the time with her daughter who assisted her and were joined for lunch by her daughter’s lovely husband and their son. Truly a highlight of our time in Puglia.

- We really enjoyed our dinner experience with Sara and her family. She was extremely well prepared and very experienced in the kitchen. Her daughter and son-in-law joined us too. We appreciated getting to experience “real life” in Italy in a normal person’s home. This is probably the highlight of our trip to Italy and we recommend it to anyone who wants a glimpse into regular Italian life and wants to spend time with wonderful people. They even sent us home with our leftovers and lots of pictures of the evening.
