Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience

Verona, the city of love, is the ideal place to organise a hen party… and why not celebrate by getting stuck in the kitchen? After a welcome drink, we’ll cook a seasonal vegetable flan as a starter, followed by stuffed pasta. To round off the experience, we’ll rediscover Verona’s Zaletti – traditional rustic Venetian biscuits with a soft, moist centre and a lightly golden crust, made with Fioretto cornflour, sultanas and pine nuts.

At the end, we’ll sit down to enjoy the dishes we’ve prepared. Fun and laughter are a must. I look forward to seeing you there!

This was a highlight of our trip to Northern Italy! Michela was so welcoming, warm and happy. Her knowledge of food and perforation was outstanding. She made us feel at home and confident in our ability to make our meal. It was so much fun! I highly recommend spending an evening cooking and chatting with Michela.

What an amazing experience! This was perhaps one of the top highlights of our trip to northern Italy. Michaela is a great host. She loves cooking and is extremely knowledgeable on the local ingredients and crafted a delicious menu based on our interests. Every part of our cooking class with Michaela was fun, very enjoyable and a fantastic learning experience. We all were involved with the food preparation as well as going to the local market to select the ingredients. She welcomed us into her lovely home and we had relaxing afternoon of cooking, conversation and enjoying our food. We would highly recommend Michaela! Just a wonderful experience and host!

We booked this experience for a bachelorette party. Michela was a wonderful host: kind, always smiling, attentive, and ready to answer all of our questions. It was an incredible experience, we had a lot of fun, learned many things and even a few tricks! It is clear that she is passionate about what she does. If you are looking for a unique experience, full of laughter, and learning how to make pasta and incredible sweets, this is the one for you.

I would like to express an extremely positive review for Cesarina Michela, who was able to give us an authentic and unforgettable experience. In her welcoming home, she received two Japanese clients with great warmth, accompanied by me as an interpreter, immediately demonstrating an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel comfortable. Michela stands out for her very high competence and impeccable professionalism: every gesture, every explanation, and every stage of the dish preparation were taken care of in the smallest detail. With passion and skill, she was able to convey the essence of Venetian culinary tradition, making every moment not only educational but also deeply engaging. Her kindness, combined with clear and attentive communication even towards those from a different culture, made the experience even more special. My Japanese clients were thrilled, fascinated not only by the quality of the dishes prepared, but also by the authenticity and humanity with which Michela shared her knowledge. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in true Venetian cuisine: Michela is not only an exceptional cook, but an extraordinary hostess capable of creating precious memories.

Hello Michela, We want to thank you for such an amazing evening. All of your attention to the smallest detail including Andrew's distaste for nuts, and Jack being vegetarian was a really nice touch. Your home was lovely and warm and your kitchen was supremely equiped! From the bottom of our hearts thank you! Tisha and the boys PS out 3rd son arrived at 2:30pm the next day. 🙌 When you have time we would love to see the pictures.

Cesarina from 2021Location: Verona (VR)    Languages: English, French, Italian
Michela is from Verona, she has always lived in Verona, a city of art and love. Her apartment is a few steps from Piazza Brà, in the city center. The hills with its vineyards, Lake Garda with centuries-old olive trees and the Lessini mountains surround the monuments of a city with magical views. Her passion for cooking is a family legacy. Grandmother Laura and mother Bibi involved grandchildren and children in the preparation of long and short fresh pasta, lasagna, tortellini and tortelli, meat main courses with side dishes and desserts. "In the kitchen I try to convey the value of simplicity, but at the same time I am always ready to experiment with new dishes, mainly using the typical products of the Verona area."
