    Discover the authentic flavors of Salento with our cooking class dedicated to meat alla pignata. We'll cook together in the traditional terracotta pot, just as the Salento housewives of yesteryear did. Before the preparation, you will enjoy typical appetizers: pittule, fried meatballs and grilled vegetables. This will be followed by a taste of orecchiette al pomodoro with cacio ricotta cheese. The main course will be meat alla pignata, cooked slowly and accompanied by an excellent Salento red wine. We will end with dessert, coffee and a shot of homemade nocino. An authentic experience between taste, tradition and conviviality.

    For our guests we reserve above all the products of our land, the dishes of the typical cuisine of Salento. However, those of a national nature that are fully part of the traditional Mediterranean diet cannot be excluded. From the coasts of Salento, tagliolini with seafood, linguine with sea urchins, soups and fried fish to name a few, and then again, arriving inland, the famous ciciri and tria, maccheroncini and orecchiette with sauce, seasoned with excellent aged ricotta cheese or, for gourmets and risk-takers, strong ricotta. This is much more for all those who want to be our welcome guests.
