Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Private Experience
Your experience
Experience an authentic Tuscan cooking class in the heart of the Sienese hills, just a few kilometers from Siena. In an old farmhouse nestled in the countryside, we will prepare together a typical appetizer, traditional pici all'aglione and, to finish, tiramisu. You will discover the use of herbs and cook with seasonal vegetables, possibly picked from our garden. All seasoned with extra virgin olive oil from our olive trees. You will be welcomed in our kitchen or in the green garden, for a genuine experience among the flavors of the Sienese peasant tradition.
If you're even thinking about taking a cooking class with Antonella and Fabio, BOOK IT. This was hands down the highlight of our entire 10-day trip to Italy!
We went with my mom, my sister, and four of our daughters/nieces (ages 6–10), and every single one of us left saying it was our favorite experience of the trip. We made panzanella salad, fresh pasta, and tiramisu, but it was so much more than just a cooking class.
Antonella and Fabio welcomed us into their beautiful home like family. They spoiled us with homemade cheeses and spreads, breakfast, cappuccinos, wine, and even gave us a tour of their incredible garden. Every detail felt thoughtful and full of love.
The best part was how amazing they were with the kids. They were so patient, kind, and encouraging. The girls had the absolute time of their lives and are still talking about making pasta with them. You could tell Antonella and Fabio genuinely loved having them there.
This wasn't just a cooking class—it felt like spending the day with old friends. It was warm, authentic, fun, and something we'll remember forever. It honestly changed the way we think about food, family, and slowing down to enjoy our time together.
Thank you, Antonella and Fabio, for giving our family memories we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. We can't wait to come back someday!

This was the highlight of our trip! Antonella and Fabio were such warm and wonderful hosts, we felt fortunate to spend the day with them in their lovely home. Our kids especially enjoyed seeing the garden and getting to participate in all the steps of cooking our meal. I also loved hearing their stories about the Palio and their neighborhood. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Antonella and Fabio!

We are currently on our 12th day in Italy and I have to say that our cooking lesson and experience with Antonella, her husband Fabio and their friend Elena was the highlight of our trip. My 23-year-old son had the time of his life and really learned some cooking skills to use forever. Their lovely farmhouse, 20 minutes from Siena, was amazing and the kitchen amazing. I believe we were their first class, and I truly hope they continue to share their hospitality and Italian warmth to many more visitors in the future. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
