I like to welcome guests to my home. The experience begins with the preparation of the fresh pasta and during its rest ( of about 30' ) we are going to prepare the simple filling but with its variation of chard and sheep's milk ricotta gives grit and more flavor to the ravioli. We also prepare a nice sauce with fresh tomatoes and basil. Now with the beautiful season the scents and flavors of raw materials, are expressed to the fullest, then there will be the preparation of the dessert.
We were welcomed into Cesarine’s home like we were members of her family ! We made delicious raviolis and enjoyed an enchanted afternoon on the wasteria covered patio! Great day embraced in Italian culture!

Cristiana and her son were wonderful. The food was great and the conversation interesting. She also had a friend visiting that ate with us and I do not recall her name, but she and her daughter were a great addition to the evening. It was so much fun we overstayed our welcome. Thank you Cristiana and family. This is a must if you visit Livorno, especially for the cruise groups who do not have time to make it to Florence.
