You will learn with me about traditional Tuscan dishes. My cooking class in Livorno will take you on a discovery of the secrets of fresh filled pasta in a thousand shapes. We will each knead our own pasta starting from flour with fresh eggs. During the class, we will use only fresh, quality ingredients. Once the preparations are finished, we will sit down together to enjoy our dishes, accompanied by a glass of local wine. It will be an authentic experience, allowing you to take the scents of Tuscany home with you.

My husband and I had the loveliest evening with Joelle and Riccardo. We were warmly welcomed into their home and with views of the sea and wine in hand, we learned to make fresh ravioli, Panzanella salad, tiramisu and more. Joelle was very organized and efficient in her planning and teaching. Every detail was thought of, to make it an enjoyable and educational experience. And the dishes were absolutely delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better cooking/dining experience and agreed it was definitely one of our favorite things we did in Italy!! Absolutely recommend.

Our family toured the Mediterranean for a week and lunch with Joëlle and Riccardo was the highlight of the trip. I thought my teenage children might not find a lunch experience interesting, but boy was I wrong. They absolutely loved it and Joëlle and Riccardo made us feel welcome and at home. They shared a collection of old (pre-1900) books which my father and son really enjoyed flipping through and the kids were amazed by their collection of antique audio and video equipment. Lunch made it clear Joëlle is an accomplished chef. The menu included several types of crostini, ravioli, beef peposo, and tiramisu torte for dessert all while we worked our way through several different wine pairings. She was patient with my daughters helping prepare the ravioli from beginning to end and provided us with detailed recipes for all the dishes to take home -- so of course my daughters insisted on giving a try the day after we returned home! Joëlle and Riccardo went the extra mile and helped make some beautiful memories for my family on our stop in Livorno. Highly recommend this experience!
