We had the most amazing experience with Massimo and Rita in their home. My husband and I did a private homemade pasta-making class, and it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our 10-day trip to Italy. Massimo guided us through every step as we learned to make three different types of pasta. You could immediately see how much care and passion he puts into the experience. He had also spent the entire day preparing the ragu for us, and it was honestly one of the best ragus we had anywhere on our trip. After making the pasta, we took a break in their garden for wine and cake with their dog, which made the whole experience feel so warm and personal, like we were cooking and spending the evening with friends rather than taking a class. We then sat down for dinner with Massimo and Rita and enjoyed all three pastas together. It was such a special, authentic, and unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a truly Italian cooking class, this is it.

My passion for cooking has taken me all over Italy, allowing me to explore flavors and traditions from north to south. Originally from Naples but now a Bologna local by adoption, I have a soft spot for Southern cuisine, rich in flavor and intensity, though I never neglect Emilian specialties, which I truly enjoy and often bring to the table.
