Get your hands in the dough and discover all the secrets of my kitchen! I’ll guide you through traditions and recipes, sharing the art of using the fragrant herbs I grow myself. If the weather allows, we’ll take a walk through my small rooftop garden overlooking the sea, where we can pick vegetables and aromatic herbs together. After enjoying the stunning view of Naples from the terrace facing the Gulf, we’ll start by mixing flour and semolina to prepare sweet ravioli—a reinvented, secret recipe. Then we’ll make scialatielli, which we’ll dress with seasonal vegetables to enhance their flavors. Finally, we’ll prepare zucchini meatballs, delicious golden bites with vegetables and a touch of mint: who will eat the most?

Our fresh pasta cooking course with Emanuela was easily the highlight of our trip to Napoli. From beginning to end, Emanuela and her partner Maurizio were warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Emanuela welcomed us into her beautiful home and pointed out the beautiful features of Napoli and across the bay. Then we got to work cooking! She went step by step, helping us to make fresh pasta and tiramisu. The experience was very fun, and the meal was hands down the best meal I had on my Italy trip! And was enjoyed with a beautiful view and with very good limoncello and wine. Truly nothing beats homemade food. We had reached out prior regarding dietary restrictions (I don't eat pork, and my husband doesn't drink) and Emanuela was very accommodating. Also, because of difficulties with transportation, for a reasonable fee Maurizio shuttled us to and from the residence, even stopping for us to enjoy panoramic views and take pictures. These accomodations made the entire experience stress free so we could fully enjoy and live in the moment. Grazi for making our visit to Napoli so incredible!

The house where Emanuela is hosting us is spacious, furnished with traditional, refined in taste and flooded with light. Emanuela’s passion for the culinary arts goes back to when she was still a small child, peeking into “mama’s" kitchen. Our Cesarina is a clever mosaic: her intuition for the accompaniments and perfect combinations has made her an expert ​​in the art of preparing good food. Flavors and fragrances are skillfully put together to tell the history and traditions of her region.
