In this experience, I will teach you which type of flour to use for your dough, the right hydration and some little tricks for the perfect leavening. Let's prepare the toppings for pizzas together. I'll show you the ingredients for creating typical sicilian pizzas such as the Norma but you can also create Your own pizza with the available ingredients.

I'll teach you how to have a pizza with a crispy and well-baked crust in an ordinary home oven, as if it were baked in a wood one. Furthermore, we'll prepare the classic tiramisu, the Italian dessert par excellence, with a unique sicilian touch. You will become a homemade-pizza champion and once you get home you can organize a Pizza & Tiramisu dinner for your family and friends.

We had a wonderful experience cooking with Alice and Francesco! It was such a fun and authentic experience. The home was clean and lovely right in the heart of Palermo. The class was structured well where we were able to have hands on experiences making all 3 courses, and all the food was absolutely delicious. Excellent class and a true highlight of our trip!

"I was passionate about cooking and food since I was a child, accomplices grandmother who loved to cook and the whole family who loves to eat well. I like to experiment and I'm particularly passionate about pastry and leavened foods. I do research on ancient cookbooks and asking around, especially older ladies, their family recipes. Sicily, like all Italy, has an invaluable gastronomic heritage, whose recipes and preparations vary from house to house, not only between cities and provinces.
