Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
On the occasion of this cooking class, I am opening the doors of my home in San Giorgio a Cremano, in the heart of Campania.
During the class, I will guide you through the preparation of traditional dishes, so that you can take home a small piece of Campanian culture to recreate in your own kitchen. We will begin with a welcome aperitif, inspired by the 18th-century “ordure” featured in the famous book Il Cavalcanti. We’ll serve cheese, salami, and our pecorino bread, a recipe passed down through our family tradition. We will then move into the heart of the experience with a hands-on cooking lesson, where we will prepare Neapolitan scialatielli, the traditional sauce to accompany them, and the famous Neapolitan migliaccio. We'll end the experience by enjoying our homemade dishes together.

- Amazing host! Very welcoming and lovely conversationalist too. I got lots of small tips that I would never have learned elsewhere. Highly recommend!
- Incredible experience with Raffaella, her husband Enzo, and her niece who joined to help interpret. Raffaella is a natural hostess and really makes you feel like one of the family. And her cooking is unmatched! You will learn a lot and have fun too.
- Had the best experience with Rafaella!!!! She made us feel right at home, like family - will definitely return and send out friends.
- There are many cooking courses in Naples, but few as anticipated and attentive as this one. Raffaella welcomed us into her wonderful home, carefully taught us some of the best tricks of Italian cuisine, and we finished with a pleasant meal. An unforgettable experience.
- It is simply impossible ti describe my level of happiness during and after the cooking class with Raffaella. From the moment I entered one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen until to moment I left it, I felt like I was in a great Italian movie. Raffaella was very dedicated mentor and we "clicked" from the very first moment. Grazie, Rafaella!
