I love preparing first courses with homemade pasta, such as maccheroni alla chitarra, ravioli, and lasagna, along with risottos and dried pasta dishes featuring mushrooms and various vegetables. I have happily experimented with many dishes from Abruzzese cuisine, including ndurciullune, pallotte cacio e ova, and stuffed rabbit. Additionally, whenever I have the chance, I enjoy being inspired by the typical cuisines of Tuscany and Lazio.

- A cooking class at Maria and Giorgio’s home in Rome turned out to be the most unforgettable experience of our entire trip. From the moment we stepped into their warm, welcoming kitchen, we felt like part of the family. Maria is truly a five‑star chef and an exceptional teacher—patient, funny, and incredibly skilled. She guided us through every step of making fresh pasta and the most delicious tiramisu we’ve ever tasted. What made the experience even more special was sharing an authentic Italian meal with Maria, Giorgio, and their family. The conversation, the laughter, the homemade dishes—everything felt genuine and full of heart. It wasn’t just a cooking class; it was a glimpse into real Roman life. If you’re visiting Rome and want something meaningful, delicious, and memorable, this is it. An absolute highlight of our trip.
- Maria and her family are wonderful hosts and people. We were instantly comfortable in their home and shared many stories, laughs and cultural exchanges over delicious food and wine. I felt like we had made friends by the time the night was over and would genuinely recommend this experience to anyone. Brava!

- My husband and I had a cooking class with Maria and Giorgio and had a wonderful time! They were both so friendly and welcoming, and it was lovely to spend time in their home and meet some of their family. I was unexpectedly able to practice my French language skills with Giorgio which led to a lot of laughs for us all. The food was absolutely delicious and my husband and I both really enjoyed learning how to make pasta and tiramisu. We’re looking forward to making tiramisu for our families this Christmas.
