- We loved making pasta with Matteo and Ivan in their gorgeous apartment in Torino. It was a last minute decision as our last day in the city was a rainy one, but they made us feel so very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking and the delicious lunch that followed. Huge thanks.
- My husband and I booked two cookery classes for our trip to Torino: lasagne/tiramisu and gnocchi and risotto. Both classes were with Matteo. We had fabulously fun evenings at Matteo's apartment. He gave very clear instructions and was an excellent host. The Cesarine communication was excellent. Highly recommend booking a class with Matteo and we are planning to use this company again when we visit Napoli later in the year.
- We attended Matteo’s Lasagna/Tiramisu class in November, 2025, and had a wonderful experience. Matteo is a kind and patient instructor, and his recipes and instructions are easy to follow. Matteo was assisted in the kitchen by Ivan, and both instructors were great to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking process - and then we got to eat! The food was awesome, and the conversation around the dinner table was outstanding. Both Matteo and Ivan are warm and welcoming hosts as well as excellent instructors. While we enjoyed all of our time in Turin, the cooking class was definitely the highlight of our visit.
- We had a great time with Matteo and Ivan. We made the colorful gnocchi with Tiramisu, all of which was delicious! Well, I guess I have to say that, as we made it ourselves…. Matteo put us to work straight away, supervised and explained a lot. Nonchalantly we learned more about Italian lifestyle, Turins city vibes and secret tips of Italian cuisine. A very different and fun way to spend the evening! It doesn`t always have to be the nonna – Matteo and Ivan are easy playing in the same league!
