Venite a casa mia e lasciatevi inebriare dai profumi inconfondibili della Sicilia! Sono Cesarina Fernanda e insieme prepareremo la caponata di melanzane. Con il suo profumo intenso e il sapore agrodolce, la caponata raccoglie in un unico piatto tutti i profumi dell'estate siciliana: melanzane, pomodori, cipolle, basilico e altri ingredienti che vi regaleranno un'esperienza di gusto straordinaria. Dopo aver assaporato la caponata palermitana, il nostro viaggio gastronomico ci porterà a Trapani con le busiate, la famosa pasta fatta in casa, e poi a Catania con la ricetta del sugo alla Norma. Concluderemo in dolcezza con i profumi di cannella, ricotta e scorze d'arancia, in una crostata fragrante che lascerà un segno indelebile tra i vostri ricordi.

My wife and i were on our honeymoon and looking for an authentic Sicilian experience when we came across Fernanda’s pasta-making class, and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, Fernanda and her wonderful family welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like part of their own. The entire experience was beyond what we expected. We learned how to make several types of pasta, including tortellini, gnocchi, and ravioli with delicious homemade fillings. Fernanda and her sister also shared insights into Sicilian culinary traditions that made us appreciate the culture even more. There was plenty of laughter, amazing food (we ate until we were stuffed!), wine flowing freely, and a sense of warmth and joy that’s hard to put into words. By the end, it felt like we were leaving a family dinner, not a cooking class. If you’re in Catania and want an experience that feels truly personal and local, this is it. Thank you for one of our favorite memories of the trip!

I had the most wonderful experience at Fernanda’s cooking class! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed into her beautiful home. Fernanda, along with her sister and daughter, guided us through the process of making fresh, authentic Italian pasta from scratch. Their passion for cooking and sharing Italian culture truly shined throughout the experience. One of the things I appreciated most was how helpful they all were with translating Italian, making sure everyone could follow along and feel included regardless of language barriers. It made the class feel even more personal and engaging. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and full of laughter—and of course, the pasta we made was absolutely delicious! If you're looking for a unique, hands-on cooking experience in a warm and authentic setting, I highly recommend Fernanda's class. It was one of the highlights of my trip!

We had a fantastic experience at the cooking class in Catania with Cesarina Fernanda. Our group of eight was welcomed like family. Fernanda is truly exceptional, and it’s easy to understand why she’s so well known—her warmth, energy, and professionalism shine from the very first moment. We were greeted with a delicious aperitivo and excellent Sicilian wine, and her sweet family made us feel completely at home in their cozy and inviting house. The highlight for me was learning how to make fresh pasta. I already loved ravioli, but making busiate by hand has become my new favorite anti-stress passion! Fernanda’s instructions were super clear, and we had plenty of time to practice and enjoy the process together. We ended the experience with a beautiful dinner, enjoying the dishes we had prepared. She also shared all the recipes with us, and they’re available on her blog—super useful for recreating everything at home. I’m so happy to bring a taste of Sicily into my kitchen. Absolutely recommended!

Hicimos el curso de pasta fresca solos mi marido y yo y nos sentimos como en casa. Fernanda y su familia son encantadores, amables, simpaticos y nos enseñaron los trucos y recetas de dos tipos de pasta y de tiramisú. Una experiencia autentica en todos los sentidos.
