A wonderful experience for the three of us, three friends who met at language school in Rome, from Brazil, Germany and France! We highly recommend booking a course with Marco & his wife! English review: We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the pasta-making class at Marcos and his wife’s home. I went with two friends, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old family friends — with a delicious homemade aperitivo prepared by his wife, and amazing drinks that immediately made us feel at home. The way they taught us how to make traditional Italian pasta was super clear and easy to follow. I never would’ve imagined that making fresh pasta could be this fun and simple! The kitchen came alive with warmth, and their energy made us feel completely immersed in the true Italian culinary experience. After rolling and shaping our own pasta — which, I must say, turned out great — we enjoyed a lovely dinner with the hosts. They are such kind and generous people, and they also shared amazing local tips about what to do in the city — special, authentic places you simply won’t find in any guidebook. I did the experience with friends, but I can totally see it being just as special for couples or even for solo travelers. It’s one of those activities that welcomes, delights, and leaves you with beautiful memories. I highly, highly recommend it! Can’t wait to go back! Portuguese review: Tivemos uma experiência absolutamente maravilhosa na oficina de massas na casa do Marcos e da esposa dele. Fui com duas amigas, e desde o primeiro momento fomos recebidas como se fôssemos velhas amigas da família — com um aperitivo delicioso preparado por ela, acompanhado de bebidas incríveis, que já nos deixaram super à vontade. A forma como eles explicam o passo a passo para fazer a pasta italiana é extremamente didática e acessível. Eu jamais imaginaria que preparar massa caseira pudesse ser algo tão divertido e simples! A cozinha se enche de vida, e a energia calorosa deles faz com que você se sinta totalmente imerso na verdadeira culinária italiana. Depois de colocarmos a mão na massa (literalmente!) e prepararmos nossas próprias pastas — que, modéstia à parte, ficaram ótimas — tivemos um jantar delicioso com os anfitriões. Eles são pessoas incríveis, super agradáveis, e ainda compartilham dicas maravilhosas sobre o que fazer na cidade — lugares autênticos e especiais que você simplesmente não vai encontrar em nenhum guia turístico. Fiz com amigas, mas imagino que essa experiência seja tão especial quanto para casais ou até mesmo para quem está viajando sozinho. É aquele tipo de atividade que acolhe, diverte e encanta. Recomendo de olhos fechados para todo mundo! Mal posso esperar para voltar! French review : Une excellente soirée passée en bonne compagnie avec Marco et son épouse, avec un très bel accueil (apperitivo excellent!), une belle vue sur les montagnes, et un accueil dans un appartement authentiquement italien. Nous avons fait le choix de ne parler qu'italien (nous sommes 3 amies qui se sont rencontrées en cours d'italien à Rome) et cela a enchanté nos hôtes, extrêmement gentils et patients pour communiquer avec nous. Le cours de cuisine en lui même était exceptionnel également : on a créé nos tagliatelles à partir de farine, semoule, oeuf et sel, qu'on a ensuite dégustées avec 2 sauces différentes préparées à l'avance par Marco. On dîne entièrement avec Marco et sa femme, avec le dessert, le digestif familial... c'était vraiment génial ! Et la soirée est parsemée de plein de petites astuces, des conseils sur des restaurants ou des endroits à visiter à Rome (son épouse est guide touristique !). Je ne peux que recommander cette expérience, 5 étoiles, je reviendrai à mon prochain passage à Rome !

Our evening with Marco and his wonderful family was truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends into their home. The experience of making fresh pasta and tiramisu was not only fun and hands-on, but also filled with laughter and warmth as Marco and his family guided us through each step with patience and passion. We started the evening with a glass of Prosecco, which set the perfect tone for a relaxed and joyful night. After preparing the pasta and assembling the tiramisu, we all sat down together at the table to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Sharing a meal with Marco, his wife, her brother, sister, and nephews, felt less like an Airbnb experience and more like an authentic slice of Italian family life. The food was absolutely delicious, the wine flowed generously, and the conversation and connection made the evening unforgettable.

I booked a class with Marco for my mother, sister and myself specifically to learn to make cacio e pepe, and it was a major highlight of our Italian holiday! Marco was a fantastic teacher, taking us through the steps and sharing tips and tricks to ensure a perfect result. Marco made us some amazing tiramisu, and shared the recipe for that as well. We also had my niece with us who is 9 months old, and Marco was the perfect host in accommodating her, even offering to make a special meal. The warm hospitality, great conversation and Marco's knowledge and teaching made the experience very special for all four of us. I would definitely recommend visiting Marco and sharing some wonderful food and a lovely evening!

La cena è stata fantastica! Abbiamo cercato di mangiare i carciofi alla romana, autentici e di stagione, a Roma, e di vedere alcuni trucchi del mestiere nella loro preparazione. Abbiamo imparato molto dall'introduzione di Marco alla cucina dei carciofi! Marco ha preparato i carciofi in tre modi diversi: alla romana, alla giudia e fritti. È stata una bella esperienza trascorrere questa divertente serata con Marco e Michela, conoscere un po' la vita dei romani e conversare con loro ha significato molto per noi. Ci hanno accolto come vecchi amici. Mio figlio ha anche ricevuto una torta a sorpresa per il suo compleanno. Grazie mille!
