Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Cavatelli with provola cheese
  • Chicken or rabbit with potatoes
  • Struffoli' (small doughnuts coated in a honey glaze)

We’ll light the fireplace, and I’ll welcome you into my home in San Cipriano Picentino, ready to become a place of flavors, traditions, and conviviality. Together, we’ll prepare chicken—or, if you prefer, rabbit, or a succulent beef dish—slowly cooked in an ancient terracotta pot, just like it was done in the old days.

Next, we’ll make cavatelli, little treasures of Campanian tradition, and we’ll finish on a sweet note with Struffoli, the typical Neapolitan honey-coated pastries, crispy and fragrant. There will also be freshly roasted chestnuts and, to warm the soul, a small glass of wild fennel infusion, just like our grandmothers used to make. Amid laughter, chatting, and stories of local life, it will be an unforgettable evening.

I love preparing homemade pasta dishes, such as gnocchi, tagliatelle, fusilli, and ravioli, always enhanced by the seasonal delicacies of my land, the beautiful Picentini Mountains. When it comes to vegetables, I enjoy creating dishes like parmigiana, grilled vegetables, and stuffed vegetables, always respecting authentic flavors. I also make simple homemade desserts, rich in taste: struffoli, zeppole, Neapolitan pastiera, calzoncelli with chestnuts, hazelnut cakes (or with hazelnuts and cream), and the traditional crespelle, thin fried pastry filled with dark chocolate, honey, and chopped hazelnuts. And of course, much more, always prepared with passion and in full respect of culinary traditions!
