It will be a true pleasure to welcome you into my home and share with you the authentic culinary art of Bari through three typical dishes that are symbols of our tradition. We will start by preparing a delicious focaccia, to be paired with the famous fresh mozzarella. I will then guide you through the preparation of spaghetti with mussels, a first course rich in authentic flavors, enhanced by garlic, oil, parsley, tomato, and the best fresh mussels, offering an experience that will make you feel the scent of the sea. To conclude, we will prepare together the Sporcamuss, a typical Bari dessert with an unmistakable taste. I look forward to welcoming you into my home for this exciting cooking lesson, where you will learn while having fun!

- This cooking class was absolutely incredible! Sara our chef and her daughter Valeria were so kind and informative about the dishes and local food we prepared! It was so much fun to roll up your sleeves and actually work for your lunch! Cannot recommend this cooking class enough! It was absolutely incredible!
- We had a great time cooking, and eating with Sara and her family. We had the opportunity to learn more about and try some traditional Barese dishes that we didn't find at restaurants.
- Cooking with Sara in her home was a fantastic experience. She shared her knowledge of Italian cooking and the secrets and techniques for success. She was well organized, the sauces for the pastas we made were done in advance. We totally expect we’ll be able to recreate what we prepared with her when we return home. Her cooking was done with love and we were able to share the time with her daughter who assisted her and were joined for lunch by her daughter’s lovely husband and their son. Truly a highlight of our time in Puglia.

- We really enjoyed our dinner experience with Sara and her family. She was extremely well prepared and very experienced in the kitchen. Her daughter and son-in-law joined us too. We appreciated getting to experience “real life” in Italy in a normal person’s home. This is probably the highlight of our trip to Italy and we recommend it to anyone who wants a glimpse into regular Italian life and wants to spend time with wonderful people. They even sent us home with our leftovers and lots of pictures of the evening.
