We await you in the lemon house where the culinary experience of Florentine cuisine will remain in your heart. The lemon house of Villa Savonarola in the Antico Borgo di Pian dei Giullari, easily reached in a few minutes' drive from the historic center of Florence or by a long, healthy and fascinating scenic walk. If the season permits, lunch or dinner is served on the patio, from where you can admire beautiful sunsets. Our passion is genuine, km 0 products from our garden. The workshops we work with for sourcing meats and flours are historic stores, rich in tradition, culture and passion. During the fresh pasta cooking class we will tell you stories and anecdotes of tradition and lose ourselves in the magic of our garden.

We travelled to Florence to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Cooking at Cristinas place was one of the absolute highlights during our stay. The location is magnificient with a beautifull view over Florence. Cristinas and Paolos home is welcoming and decorated with exquisite touch. Harmony and beauty. Cristina and Paolo guided us through the cooking with ease and made us feel truly "at home". We loved the food and the company. We give our highets recommendations.

Beautiful setting to learn how to make a few classic Italian dishes. Cristina was a very warm and fun host. We were able to take a few moments during the class to enjoy the first course with a glass of wine while sitting in the sun and enjoying the stunning view. It was a very laid back and fun day, plus a great way to get the Tuscan experience right outside of Florence.

Absolutely outstanding experience. Our hosts, Cristina and Paolo were amazing. We felt so comfortable in their home and learned so much. Their home sits on a beautiful piece of property in the hills overlooking Florence just 10 minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. A MUST!!!

An an absolutely incredible lunch with Cristina and Paolo! Everything from the music to the wine to the food was perfectly planned out and beautiful. Cristina was an incredible teacher showing us to make the pasta, and the spinach with ricotta. The scenery and garden is absolutely magnificent. Could not of had a better lunch in Florence. We cannot wait to come home! It was so lovely!!!!

Cristina welcomes us to her home in a lemon house, surrounded by greenery, in the old village of Pian dei Giullari, near the ancient home of Galileo Galilei.  Our Cesarina, with passion and dedication, takes care of the vegetable garden, respecting the biological cycles of nature and using to cook her dishes only seasonal fruit and vegetables. Since she was young she has always valued the mise en place, following her mother's advice: "you can eat with your eyes too!" Over time she has learned to know and respect the ingredients and raw materials, the real protagonists of her dishes, which she cooks with passion and imagination.
