I welcome you to my home, unique and special, nestled within a lemon grove and enveloped by the greenery of the Borgo di Pian dei Giullari. I cultivate the garden and orchard with love and dedication, respecting natural rhythms and favoring seasonal fruits and vegetables. I invite you to discover the authentic culinary experience of Florentine cuisine, in the heart of my beloved lemon grove at Villa Savonarola. My passion lives in the genuine zero-kilometer products from my garden and in the raw materials provided by the local historical shops, true cathedrals of tradition, culture, and passion. During the cooking course dedicated to Tuscan tradition, I'll guide you on a journey through stories of our culinary heritage, losing ourselves together in the enchanted charm of my garden.

- An an absolutely incredible lunch with Cristina and Paolo! Everything from the music to the wine to the food was perfectly planned out and beautiful. Cristina was an incredible teacher showing us to make the pasta, and the spinach with ricotta. The scenery and garden is absolutely magnificent. Could not of had a better lunch in Florence. We cannot wait to come home! It was so lovely!!!!
- Wonderful evening! Cristina and Paulo were so gracious in their home and helped us to cook a fantastic, traditional meal. The food was yummy but even more than the food was the atmosphere both inside and in their wonderful garden. What a special evening we won’t soon forget!

Cesarina from 2019Location: Florence Languages: Italian and EnglishCristina welcomes us to her home in a lemon house, surrounded by greenery, in the old village of Pian dei Giullari, near the ancient home of Galileo Galilei. Our Cesarina, with passion and dedication, takes care of the vegetable garden, respecting the biological cycles of nature and using to cook her dishes only seasonal fruit and vegetables. Since she was young she has always valued the mise en place, following her mother's advice: "you can eat with your eyes too!" Over time she has learned to know and respect the ingredients and raw materials, the real protagonists of her dishes, which she cooks with passion and imagination.
