Dusica welcomes us in the centre of Florence, just few steps away from the gorgeous cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and from the most important monuments of the city’s renaissance. Our Cesarina isn’t Florentine by birth, but “by customs”. She has been living in the Tuscan capital for several years now, slowly falling in love with it and learning its customs and culture.
Above all, Dusica loves its cuisine and has decided to interpret the dishes of the regional tradition as a passion.
A tradition made of simple and tasty recipes which delve their roots into the history of this splendid territory.

Dusica created a warm and welcoming environment in her home. She is a lively and informative host - not to mention a fabulous cook!! Delicious and would most definitely recommend and visit again when we are in Florence.
Dining with Cesarina Dusica and family was the highlight of our trip to Florence! We were warmly greeted as though were part of her family. She prepared a wonderful 7 course meal that was absolutely delicious! It was such a joy to stand in her Florentine kitchen and watch her work her culinary magic. I got talk shop about bread making with her husband who is a fellow bread maker. We met their wonderful friends Christophe and Rosemarie from France. Cesarina Dusica finally brought out a stunning pavlova as a surprise dessert in honor of our 30th wedding anniversary!!! This was the best dining experience I have had in a long time. We all laughed and talked over a great meal the entire evening! I highly recommend Cesarine for a dinner booking anytime you plan to visit Italy. If will be traveling to Florence, I highly recommend you to ask for Cesarina Dusica!!! When we return, she is certainly our top choice. Thanks to Lucy Bingham who provided us with excellent customer service, and kept us on track throughout the entire booking process!
