I am Roberta, a Florentine by adoption with roots in Maremma and Campania, a food and wine journalist and a lifelong cooking enthusiast. For over twenty years I have been writing about the world of food and wine, but when I step away from the computer, I happily put on my apron.My cuisine combines Tuscan and Campanian traditions with a passion for experimentation, especially when it comes to fish. I am also a sommelier and love pairing every dish with the right wine.I live in Florence, in the Gavinana district, in a typical Florentine home with a small terrace surrounded by greenery, where on summer evenings I enjoy welcoming a few guests to share good food, wine, and conviviality.I am a cheerful, spontaneous person who loves being around others.
