Absolutely a MUST when visiting Sorrento! Alessandra is SO welcoming, and you feel as if you are part of her family. She is very patient, and explains step by step how to make the different dishes. Very hands on and attentive to each individual, even if you have never been in the kitchen or cooked ever, You will feel like a pro! When everything was finished( (spaghetti with fresh zucchini , ravioli stuffed with cheese, and gnocchi made with potato and cheese) ) and dinner was served the food was out of this world.!! All made by YOU! Words do not do justice to the freshness and savory tastes we experienced. All ingredients from her own garden as well. After dinner Lemoncello , also homemade by her family was out of this world, the BEST we had while in Italy. I would rate this experience 5 stars 100 x over and over again! Will definitely be back to experience another class of Alessandra's!! LOVED THIS EXPERIENCE!!

“Our evening with Alessandra was nothing short of a fairytale and was truly one of the highlights of our vacation. From the moment we arrived at her beautiful, welcoming home overlooking Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius, we felt like honored guests rather than tourists. Alessandra is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, and she made learning the art of pasta making both enjoyable and approachable. She shared not only cooking techniques and family traditions, but also stories that brought the experience to life. We were also delighted to see her husband’s beautiful woodworking creations, which added another special and personal touch to the evening. The combination of exceptional food, warm hospitality, breathtaking views, and authentic Italian culture created an unforgettable experience. It felt like spending an evening with friends in a storybook setting. If you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast or Sorrento area, this is an experience not to be missed.

The best part of our visit to Sorrento was our time with Alessandra! She made us feel so welcome in her home. We laughed all night with her and made the best pizza and tiramisu I’ve ever had!! The view from her home was breathtaking! Better than any restaurant. Thank you Alessandra xoxo

Cesarina from 2021Location: Sorrento (NA)    Languages: Italian, English, French
Sorrento, land of sirens that tempted Ulysses and home of Torquato Tasso, offers moments of poetry between secret coves, breathtaking views and tasty stops, as at home of our Cesarina Alessandra. "I love traditional cuisine and I am passionate about leavened, especially the Neapolitan pizza made with my sourdough, with which I make fragrant breads, of any kind of flour". At her table flavors of sea and land, recipes of the culinary tradition of Sorrento, fragrant and tasty.
