Cooking class: learn to make trofie with pesto and tiramisu at Cesarino's home with a sea view

Shared Experience

In a shared experience, other guests may be added, up to the maximum number of people that the host can accommodate. Therefore you may have the opportunity to share your passion for good food and cooking with other people from all over the world!

Your experience
  • Trofie
  • Tiramisù

In this experience you can learn how to make pesto, local trofie and tiramisu.

The experience takes place in a private 16th-century house in Riomaggiore, where my dog Ettore and I will welcome you with a glass of prosecco and we can start working to create the best pesto, trofie and tiramisu you have ever tasted, while enjoying a wonderful view of the sea. We will start with the Tiramisu, which must remain in the refrigerator to chill, and then immediately move on to the preparation of the best Pesto Genovese, then we will prepare the local trofie, which you will finally enjoy.

The cooking class was excellent. Luca did a great job in taking us through the whole process and the food was great. The only downside was find the place was a little challenging as one of our party members uses a cane. Transversing the step to his place was a challenge, but when you consider the age of the buildings, they were not built with our handicap requirements of today. Luca sent detailed instructions on how to get to his place, but we missed the street sign and walked farther than we needed to.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Luca. He was funny and shared a lot of information about the foods we were making-pesto, trophie pasta, and tiramisu. Our group then shared the foods we made. Very fun class! I would recommend this class if you are Cinque Terre.

Riomaggiore is an example of the beauty of the Cinque Terre and their natural environment, dominated by Mediterranean vegetation. Here we meet Luca, an architect with a passion for cooking. Our Cesarino, as a child, helped his grandmother in preparing lunches and dinners for the whole family and, above all, in the creation of special recipes for special occasions.
