Cooking lesson: learn how to cook Italian recipes with a local Cesarina
Private Experience
Your experience
The aperitivo ritual is a classic in Milan: with this course we learn how to make some recipes to replicate it at home and invite friends over, surprising them with many creative but easy-to-make ideas. More informal than a dinner party but as substantial as a lunch, aperitivo is not just olives, pizzettas and chips!
During the course you can sip a "sbagliato," the famous cocktail invented in Milan in an equally famous bar, which you can glimpse out the window!
What we will prepare (ingredients vary depending on the season) polenta sandwich with kale pesto, sun-dried tomatoes and caramelized onion bruschetta with herbs, walnuts, capers, olives and chili peppers chickpea, pumpkin and thyme pie borlotti croquettes, apples and hazelnuts

- Béatrice was an excellent teacher and wonderfully warm and friendly. We had a great experience and truly enjoyed the meal we cooked with her. I highly recommend Cesarine and Beatrice.
- Beatrice è una cuoca fantastica, che riesce a coinvolgerti dall'inizio alla fine, con le sue spiegazioni, conoscenze e allegria. Un punto di riferimento per una cucina vegetale buonissima, super consigliata!
- I had such an awesome time in her class. She was friendly, informative, and guiding me very well to make pasta and tiramisu from the scratch. Of course, food was amazingly delicious! It was one of my highlights of my Milan trip. I would absolutely love to take her class again when I trip to Milan in the future.
- What a wonderful experience! Beatrice was very welcoming and very patient as this was our first time making homemade pasta. The food was absolutely delicious! Highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

Where
Beatrice
Cesarina from 2018Location: Milan Languages: English, Italian, FrenchNowadays, Milan is a primary tourist destination throughout the year. The selection of attractions is vast. Even if you abandon the usual classic tour of the monuments, museums and squares, the markets scattered around the city can be a fascinating discovery. Places like the many farmers' markets on the outskirts of Milan, where you can buy locally produced seasonal products. That's what Beatrice, our Cesarina, loves to do! Enthusiastic about healthy cuisine based on vegetables, Beatrice attended a macrobiotic and ‘natural’ cooking school to specialize in the combination of ingredients, the organization of meals and the use of local and sustainable ingredients. Beatrice feels that it is important to offer the option of an 'inclusive' cuisine. Respect for the land comes from not only using recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation, but also from searching for quality ingredients that have a short or very short supply chain. At Beatrice’s table, we can enjoy a journey through the flavors of seasonal vegetables, making traditional recipes both creative and surprising.
