Hands-on cooking class with bruschetta, 3 recipes (starter, pasta and dessert) followed by an Italian aperitivo and a 3-course menu with the recipes prepared during the class.

All the recipes are typical, but in particular the pasta one is very dear to me, as I learned it from my Grandfather Nunzio.

We will start cooking polenta with anchovy sauce) and then prepare pizzoccheri (a type of short tagliatelle, a flat ribbon pasta, made with buckwheat flour and wheat flour). The dessert is called "pan meino" and is a typical Lombard dish.

Ho regalato questa esperienza al mio ragazzo, abbiamo passato una serata davvero originale e divertente cucinando le tagliatelle e il tiramisù fatti in casa. Sandra è stata un’ottima insegnante di cucina: gentile simpatica e soprattutto molto paziente!! Super apprezzati l’aperitivo pre cena preparato da lei, la salsa di pomodoro fatta in casa insieme alla sua famiglia ad Altamura e il suo limoncello offerto dopo il dolce. Una bellissima serata passata in compagnia. Lo abbiamo già consigliato e torneremo!!!

Her detailed explanations made it clear that fresh, homemade pasta—using only the finest ingredients—is much easier than it seems. We also had the chance to make a rich and creamy tiramisu from scratch, which was a real highlight. The hands-on experience was both fun and educational, and I left feeling confident that I could recreate these dishes at home.
