Hands-on cooking class with bruschetta, 3 recipes (starter, pasta and dessert) followed by an Italian aperitivo and a 3-course menu with the recipes prepared during the class.

All the recipes are typical, but in particular the pasta one is very dear to me, as I learned it from my Grandfather Nunzio.

We will start cooking polenta with anchovy sauce) and then prepare pizzoccheri (a type of short tagliatelle, a flat ribbon pasta, made with buckwheat flour and wheat flour). The dessert is called "pan meino" and is a typical Lombard dish.

I have taken numerous cooking classes across NYC, France, and Italy and Sandra's class was by far my favorite culinary experience. She was warm, inviting, knowledgeable, encouraging, and thoughtful. I cannot recommend her enough! Everyone should experience a class with Sandra!
