Among the hills of Chianti, with a breathtaking view, I am waiting for you to make pizza and schiacciata together with sourdough. We will knead and roll out pizza, stuffing it with typical ingredients such as pecorino cheese, prosciutto, olives and seasonal vegetables. A vegetarian variant will not be missing! We will also prepare Tuscan schiacciata, to be enjoyed with local cured meats, and we will conclude with a mouth-watering tiramisu. All in my garden, surrounded by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside, to experience authentic Italian home life. Four-legged friends are welcome: they will keep my Tosca company while we knead!

The cooking class was a blast. Sara and her son were so nice and welcoming it really felt like we were friends hanging out in their home. We learned a lot, ate the amazing food we made, and had a spectacular view of the Tuscan hills.

I love rediscovering my mother's recipes and preparing traditional Tuscan first courses. I have my own sourdough starter and make bread, pizza, focaccia, rolls, flatbreads, and breadsticks, all at home using various types of flour. I also make vegan dishes, but the traditional ones that you wouldn't expect to be vegan. My cooking is rustic and simple, with an eye on sustainability. Additionally, I make pantry cakes and traditional sweet leavened baked goods.
