Discover Bollito Piemontese - An authentic experience between tradition and flavor

Join our cooking class and immerse yourself in one of the richest traditions of Piedmontese cuisine: bollito misto. We will prepare together the different cuts of meat, cooked slowly to enhance their taste and tenderness, accompanied by typical sauces such as bagnetto verde and seasonal vegetables. Our morning and lunch with Benedetta and Zoe were full of information and sights at the huge Mercato Centrale in Torino. The highlights were seeing the farmers’ seasonal, beautiful and unusual (for us from US) offerings, the ancient Ghiacciaia – Ice dome refrigeration, the cooking school area at the top of the building and the activity all around. Then our walk to Benedetta’s home on this pretty day was enjoyable and more to see – lots of people enjoying little places outside to have a quick lunch. We arrived and were greeted by Benedetta’s mother Luisa and a table beautifully set in their vintage Torino pottery. The menu was Bruschette of tomatoes and another of peppers on crusty bread. Additionally, the traditional thin veal with the tuna sauce. Homemade tagliatelle with tomato sauce and two cheeses was delicious, followed by dessert of Bunet and amaretti garnish. We felt right at home! The Barbera d’Alba red wine and lots of water after our excursion were very welcome and the conversations in Italian and English about food and life in general. A fun delicious day.

I also love blending tradition with a touch of originality and innovation — a passion that comes naturally to me, thanks to my background in art and design, which is also my profession.
