This was a great experience! Definitely recommend it! Very happy and grateful we had the chance to spend time with Alice and Francesco. We toured the Capo market with them and then cooked a multi course meal (antipasto, pasta, desert and wine too!) The class and tour were so well organized. Alice was very communicative and happy to accommodate the menu based on our needs. That being said, definitely take it as a chance to explore and try new dishes and seafood that are local to Palermo that you might not otherwise have the chance to eat. Alice and Francesco have so much knowledge of food, especially Sicilian cuisine so you are in great hands. Grazie, Alice e Francesco!

We had such an amazing experience at this cooking class! Our group included 7 people, with 3 kids and it ended up being one of the highlights of our family trip. The arancini were delicious, some of the best we had. Alice was an incredible teacher and host. She made sure the kids were involved in every step, which made it that much more special. She also took some time to give us some local recommendations on things to do and see while in Palermo. I highly recommend this class with Alice!

My mom and I had an amazing time! Booking and communication was clear and efficient. The class was intimate and Alice and Francesco were lovely hosts and teachers. We had a great time learning more about Italy and Italian food and it just felt like we were hanging out with friends. My mom said it her favorite part of our Italy trip. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time. Taught us step by step how to prepare each part of the meal. Then, sat down and ate the meal together. Great conversation, very welcoming and will do it again with Alice.

We got to spend a lovely afternoon together making arancina. We felt very welcome and appreciated all the history they shared with us. Hope to go back someday and make pasta together.

I was passionate about cooking and food since I was a child, accomplices grandmother who loved to cook and the whole family who loves to eat well. I therefore decided to pursue a university career in the field of gastronomy. I have faced a multidisciplinary and holistic path that has treated the world of food at 360 o'clock. I love cooking for my family and for others, starting from the choice of recipes and the selection of ingredients. I like to experiment and I'm particularly passionate about pastry and leavened foods. I do research on ancient cookbooks and asking around, especially older ladies, their family recipes. Sicily, like all Italy, has an invaluable gastronomic heritage, whose recipes and preparations vary from house to house, not only between cities and provinces. This gives the palate the opportunity to enjoy the same traditional dishes with different ingredients, techniques and stories.
