Want to enjoy a unique evening? Surprise your partner with an extraordinary experience: learn to cook a special Sicilian dish and then savor it together along with other traditional treats.
We’ll start with a selection of Sicilian street food: 1 arancinetta, 1 sfincionello, 1 rollò with wurstel, and 1 fried calzone. Then, we’ll prepare fresh egg pasta together, dressed with potatoes, provola cheese, and guanciale. To finish, a rich almond parfait served with hot chocolate. Fun fact: my family ran a starred restaurant in the 1980s… and we actually invented the almond parfait!

- Oh my goodness such fun!! RosaMaria was amazing and I actually made fresh pasta! I would highly recommend this experience to everyone. Eating with her and her family was the best end to a great trip around Sicily!!

- Rosa Maria was an absolute delight. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. I’m not exactly skilled in the kitchen, but she helped me and we prepared a pasta I can actually make at home. It was a lovely afternoon with her and her husband and the nanny of their children. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Sicilian dining experience.
- Rosa Maria and her daughter were wonderful! We had a group of 14, and everything was ready when we arrived. We learned to make two types of pasta and tiramisu. We then shared our meal together. I highly recommend!
- We had the most wonderful experience with Rosa Maria making arancine. We were a group of 7 all family traveling together in Sicily. We make “arancinis” at home and had so much fun learning more about the culinary tradition as it is done here in Palermo. Rosa Maria and her helper was gracious and friendly. I would absolutely take another class with them.

Cesarina from 2018Location: Palermo (PA) Languages: Italian, English, French In Sicily, especially in Palermo, there is one true regional cuisine — based on four essential ingredients: pasta, olive oil, vegetables, and oily fish. These are the foundations of my cooking. My dishes reflect this tradition, but I love to add a touch of imagination and a desire to experiment, always staying true to the spirit of our ancient recipes. I use ingredients that are deeply connected to the land and sea of Sicily. I welcome my guests here in Palermo, but through my food, I also invite them to discover the aromas and flavors of Favignana, Ustica, and San Vito Lo Capo.
