This was a highlight of our trip to Florence. Luca was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time preparing two types of fresh pasta, homemade tiramisu and sitting down and eating the meal we prepared with him. We would highly recommend this cooking experience.

This was truly a memorable experience. Luca was a wonderful host and talented chef. He was very engaging and personable. We all enjoyed preparing the meal together and learned a lot. We felt very at home in Luca’s house. The meal was delicious and we will definitely try to replicate the meal at home. This was my children’s favorite activity on our trip through Italy. Thank you for a special night.

Luca was a tremendous host. We started by going to the local market to buy our produce. This gave us a great feel for how the local people of Florence go about preparing meals for their families. Once we got the produce we went back to Luca’s home and started cooking our three course meal. Luca was very good at showing us how to prepare the food as well as explain why the food needed to be prepared in certain ways. After the meal was cooked we had a lunch with Luca and his wonderful family. After the meal we sat around the table in typical Italian fashion and had great conversation about arts, sciences, and difference/similarities between Italy and America. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for a personal cooking class.

Luca was so wonderful! We had an amazing time and my boys were entertained the entire class (5 and 7). Luca took us to the market, we walked to his house, made Italian dishes we requested and ate at his dinner table. We highly recommend Luca!

What an amazing experience. We meet Luca at the Piazza Sant' Ambrogio. We walked over to the local farmers market (it was better than San Lorenzo market) where we shopped for a few local products before we headed to his home. We asked to make zucchini flowers and we did :). We learned how to cook/helped cook bruschetta, zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and prosciutto, risotto with zucchini flowers, and for dessert we had biscotti with wine. During our cooking we drank wine and had great conversations. After, we ate an amazing meal together. Luca also offered suggestions for dinner, where I could buy good coffee, and pointed us in the direction to a local grocery store to shop. I would definitely do this again my next trip to Florence.
