Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Welcome aperitif with olives, caponata, panelle and croquettes
  • Vegetable couscous
  • Cannoli with ricotta and chocolate cream

Sicily is a land of cultural influences and intense flavours: amongst these, couscous is one of the most symbolic dishes of the Arab heritage. In this cooking class in San Martino delle Scale, Palermo, we will prepare a vegetable couscous together using fresh produce from my garden. We’ll start with a welcome aperitif, sipping a chilled local wine, then we’ll get cooking! We’ll round off the experience by making a ricotta and chocolate cream to fill authentic Sicilian cannoli. An authentic and convivial experience, combining traditional cuisine with Sicilian hospitality. I look forward to seeing you!

I especially love cooking seafood dishes, perhaps because they are my favorite. Being a Molisana living in Sicily, my cuisine is a blend of flavors and traditions from both regions, ranging from meat to fish, without forgetting desserts. In any case, I prefer balanced flavors, without overusing spices or condiments!
