Are you ready to get your hands in the dough? In this cooking class we will prepare together the traditional ravioli of Gravina in Puglia with a sweet ricotta filling and a sheet of egg pasta. The scent of lemon and cinnamon will envelop the atmosphere, while grandma's ragout will give a special touch to the dish. After a bubbly toast, you will taste the ravioli prepared with your own hands. And to finish, the mouth-watering Baresi Sporcamuss, with chantilly cream and powdered sugar. A not-to-be-missed experience-I look forward to guiding you on this culinary adventure!

We had a great day at Pierangelas place. Her home is so lovely and her family were extremely welcoming. Pierangela taught so so well and gave us so many recipes which was great. She made the pasta making so easy and and the sauce was amazing. She made us such lovely starters and so much that we could not stop eating. This was truly a great experience NOT to be missed.

Learning to cook Italian food in Pierangela’s home was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family into a warm, authentic setting, the aroma of fresh home grown ingredients and good music. Her husband and daughter’s presence, going about their day, made the experience feel so genuine and special. We learned to make fresh pasta from scratch and delicious tiramisu, all while sipping local wine made by her family. The food was absolutely incredible – some of the best we had in Italy. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for more than just a cooking lesson – it’s a taste of real Italian life.

Thank you Pierangela for welcoming me into your lovely home and treating me like part of your family! You were so patient teaching me and I really felt your love and joy for cooking which shone through in the delicious lunch we prepared. Despite the class only having one participant you still ensured I had the same experience as what a full class would with delicious aperitif, wine and our two pastas and tiramisu of course! Thank you again Peierangela for a fun morning

We had an amazing cooking class with Pierangela. The whole family were so accommodating and it really felt like we'd just come over for an authentic Italian family dinner. She is a great teacher and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We made two amazing pastas and a tiramisu. They were especially general with some lovely aperitifs she made earlier as well as a glass of prosecco and some wine her father in law makes. A perfect evening - would highly recommend!

Hello, my name is Pierangela, and cooking for others is one of the things that brings me the most joy. Since I was a child, I've wanted to experiment with the traditional recipes of my hometown. I was born in Gravina in Puglia, a town on the border between Puglia and Basilicata, boasting an incredibly rich culinary tradition. It's precisely this richness that drives me to cook: so many recipes, so many flavors, unique and unmistakable, exclusively ours. Panzerotti, focaccia barese, Pan cotto alla gravinese, U' ruccl (typical San Giuseppe focaccia), sweet ricotta calzones with pork ragu, orecchiette al tegamino, cavatelli, baked finocchietti, cartellate, and much more—these are the typical flavors of my homeland. For the past 12 years, I have been living in Lecce, in the wonderful and spectacular Salento, and from the beginning, I started to savor and create dishes typical of the Salento tradition, including the famous Pezzetti di cavallo, Ciceri e tria, Pittule, Pizzo, Frise, and the unmissable pasticciotto.
