You will learn how to make pici, one of the most famous types of homemade pasta, using only water and flour, according to Tuscan peasant tradition. It will be served with a rich red sauce from the Emilia region. In Italy, every region, every province, every city and, ultimately, every family has its own recipes. These thousands of variations are a true treasure to be preserved, passed on and shared. The meal will be rounded off with a rice cake, also typical of our area.
Today we took part in a fun traditional Italian cooking experience, being welcomed by the hostess, Luisa, with great cordiality and kindness.
She guided us step by step, in a clear manner, through all the procedures for the two recipes to be made. If you want to test yourself in the kitchen in a family-like environment, this is the place for you!

We loved learning to make three pasta shapes with Luisa! It was a private lesson in her lovely farm house kitchen. She was such a good teacher and the sauce she made to top it off was amazing. If you are in Pistoia book this. Her smile and the memories will live in your ❤️

Today we took part in a pasta workshop at the home of the lovely and cheerful Luisa. It was very relaxing and fun. And now we know the secret to making pasta: it's simpler than you think! ;) Thank you, dear Luisa, for your enthusiasm and your hospitality.

"I was born in Romagna, but now after more than 35 years in Pistoia my home is Tuscany. In the green, but a few kilometers from the station and the Piazza del Duomo. I have a creative and curious soul and in the kitchen, through the dishes of the Romagna and Tuscan tradition, I express at best my spirit of welcome. I love to make homemade pasta, bake bread, cook the classic desserts of the tradition."
