Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Tuscan schiacciata
  • Thin pizza (without yeast)

There is no "best" way to make bread, but rather the way that best suits your personality and lifestyle. All you need is an electric oven, a few utensils, and a few basic rules: in just a few hours, you can taste your homemade bread. During this course, suitable for all ages, we will prepare Tuscan schiacciata and thin pizza without yeast. You can do it with me and, once you get home, create and enjoy your own bread in just 3 hours. During the lesson, you will receive general information on Italian and foreign bread making, knead dough, and learn tricks and secrets about dough, baking, shapes, and textures. You will be provided with handouts containing all the information and recipes for the two types of bread prepared during the course.

Esperienza con la signora Luisa ottima. Luisa, molto ospitale e gentile, ci ha seguiti passo per passo nella preparazione di alcuni tipi di pasta ed è stata un’esperienza molto interessante e piacevole. Da fare nuovamente grazie

A wonderful cooking class in a warm, family-style atmosphere. Luisa was a thoughtful and attentive host, carefully listening also to our gluten-free dietary needs and making everyone feel truly welcome. Making fresh pasta together, surrounded by conversation and laughter, turned the experience into something authentic, inclusive, and genuinely special!

Luisa’s pasta class was authentic and beautiful! She invited you into her home, where she is excellent at explaining the traditional customs of pasta making. It felt like family and home and Tuscan hospitality all wrapped up into one. Bellissimo!

Luisa was very accommodating and nice. We felt comfortable at her place. It was like a nice cooking evening with friends. We were allowed to do everything ourselves and she explained everything super well. I would do it again, but I can make great pasta now thanks to Luisa

Emma  - December 2025

That was an excellent experience! Luisa is not only a great tutor who shared all her recipes and tips for making perfect pasta and tiramisu, but she also helped us understand Italian culture and the true essence behind Italian cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed the class and highly recommend it for a wonderful experience!

"I was born in Romagna, but now after more than 35 years in Pistoia my home is Tuscany. In the green, but a few kilometers from the station and the Piazza del Duomo. I have a creative and curious soul and in the kitchen, through the dishes of the Romagna and Tuscan tradition, I express at best my spirit of welcome. I love to make homemade pasta, bake bread, cook the classic desserts of the tradition."
