Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Tuscan schiacciata
  • Thin pizza (without yeast)

There is no "best" way to make bread, but rather the way that best suits your personality and lifestyle. All you need is an electric oven, a few utensils, and a few basic rules: in just a few hours, you can taste your homemade bread. During this course, suitable for all ages, we will prepare Tuscan schiacciata and thin pizza without yeast. You can do it with me and, once you get home, create and enjoy your own bread in just 3 hours. During the lesson, you will receive general information on Italian and foreign bread making, knead dough, and learn tricks and secrets about dough, baking, shapes, and textures. You will be provided with handouts containing all the information and recipes for the two types of bread prepared during the course.

Today we took part in a fun traditional Italian cooking experience, being welcomed by the hostess, Luisa, with great cordiality and kindness. She guided us step by step, in a clear manner, through all the procedures for the two recipes to be made. If you want to test yourself in the kitchen in a family-like environment, this is the place for you!

We loved learning to make three pasta shapes with Luisa! It was a private lesson in her lovely farm house kitchen. She was such a good teacher and the sauce she made to top it off was amazing. If you are in Pistoia book this. Her smile and the memories will live in your ❤️

Luisa was a very friendly woman. She gives you a homely feeling. We make pizza and ice Cream. It was very nice. The ice Cream was lovely! Very good wine also. She give us some pizza to take away. Keep going on Luisa! 😊🤗

Today we took part in a pasta workshop at the home of the lovely and cheerful Luisa. It was very relaxing and fun. And now we know the secret to making pasta: it's simpler than you think! ;) Thank you, dear Luisa, for your enthusiasm and your hospitality.

"I was born in Romagna, but now after more than 35 years in Pistoia my home is Tuscany. In the green, but a few kilometers from the station and the Piazza del Duomo. I have a creative and curious soul and in the kitchen, through the dishes of the Romagna and Tuscan tradition, I express at best my spirit of welcome. I love to make homemade pasta, bake bread, cook the classic desserts of the tradition."
