Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
We will cook 3 typical Bolognese dishes together: we will start with "friggione," a specialty of Bolognese cuisine prepared with onions and tomatoes, then move on to classic tagliatelle with meat sauce (with the possibility of opting for a vegetarian version) and then finish on a sweet note with a very traditional rice cake.
Eva was such a wonderful host! She was welcoming and knowledgeable and shared all of her tips and tricks with us. My husband and I attended and were joined by two people from Greece. We made tortellini, tagliatelle, gnocchi and tiramisu and then enjoyed a meal together with local wines and difestifs. I highly recommend this experience, and highly recommend selecting Eva as your host!

My sister and I had a wonderful private lesson with Eva. It was the highlight of our stay in Bologna! She was very friendly and interactive with us! Great hands on experience, teaching us her family recipes. Made us feel very welcome and comfortable! Would definitely recommend her to anyone!

I love baked goods, especially pizza in all its versions. I make a purely classic cuisine (my origins are Umbrian, but I am Emilian by adoption!) and I enjoy adding some contemporary and fusion flavors from time to time. I am available for cooking classes and market tours. I speak Italian, English and Spanish.
