Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
In a beautiful late 18th-century home in Palermo's historic center, I will teach you how to make three different types of rolls typical of traditional Sicilian cuisine: 1) eggplant rolls with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese; 2) Palermo skewers, stuffed with breadcrumbs, cheese and passolina and pine nuts; breaded and cooked on the griddle; and 3) Apostles' Fingers, a delicate dessert made with a crepe filled with a special ricotta cream and flavored with cinnamon.
It will be great to be together, teasing a light appetizer, and sharing my recipes with you. I look forward to seeing you!

Cesarina from 2024Location: Palermo Languages: Italian, English, SpanishThe passion for cooking has been passed down to me by the women in my family. We cook with love. My curiosity has driven me to learn about the history of traditional Sicilian dishes and beyond, because wherever I am in the world, I seek to discover local recipes and their stories. I consider myself fortunate to be from Palermo because in Sicily, there is a good production of quality food and wine products, and our cuisine is never boring. I enjoy cooking and storytelling.
