And to end on a sweet note, we will delight you with the true recipe for tiramisù, passed down to us by a dear chef friend from Treviso—the city where this iconic dessert was born.     I cannot recommend Simona and Rosa’s cooking class and market tour enough – it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, Simona and Rosa made us feel like family, welcoming us into their world with warmth and charm. The market tour was a feast for the senses – their knowledge of local ingredients and their passion for fresh, authentic cuisine truly shone through. The cooking class itself was nothing short of perfection. Every step was thoughtfully explained, making it both fun and easy to follow.     Since 2018, I have been a Cesarina in Palermo, and because my children live in Milan, I decided to open my home there as well, along with my daughter Simona. Simona and I share a passion for cooking, and together we will prepare traditional dishes from our home region of Sicily, such as *busiate* and *cavatelli*, as well as Lombard dishes like pumpkin tortelli and tagliatelle with seasonal ingredients. We will also make Sicilian desserts based on ricotta, such as cannoli and cassata, and a unique version of tiramisù, passed down to us by a chef friend from Treviso, the birthplace of this recipe.
