This cooking class is dedicated to those who want to learn how to prepare authentic pasta alla carbonara, according to Roman tradition. The experience begins with a story about the history of the dish, from its origins to its spread around the world, touching on the most common mistakes that distort the recipe. After the theoretical part, we move on to the practical part in the kitchen, following each stage of the preparation step by step. The lesson is accompanied by a selection of typical Lazio appetizers, a tasting of the dishes prepared, and local wine. Everything takes place in a cheerful, convivial, and fun atmosphere, perfect for learning by cooking and sharing.

We purposely booked an experience outside of Rome with the intent of a more relaxed and 'real' experience, and we were NOT disappointed. Antonio warmly welcomed us to his home, and had a wonderful spread of charcuterie, home-made olive oil, and fresh bread. After relaxing and getting to know each other, Antonio took us on the journey of making the perfect Carbonara! We went step-by-step, with helpful hints along the way, and created the perfect (and most tasty) version of Carbonara we've had. Antonio is a warm and gracious host, and we cannot recommend him enough for an amazing experience outside of the hustle and bustle of Rome.
