Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
In a shared experience, other guests may be added, up to the maximum number of people that the host can accommodate. Therefore you may have the opportunity to share your passion for good food and cooking with other people from all over the world!
Your experience
In a beautiful late 18th-century Sicilian house, we will welcome you to cook together three typical dishes of Palermo cuisine such as Panelle, chickpea flour fritters, a classic of Palermo street-food; "Tagghiarini," fresh egg pasta, with fresh tuna ragout and mint; and finally Almond Biancomangiare with coffee sauce (spoon dessert).
I will teach you secrets and tricks to make them perfectly and be able to repeat them at home with great success to your guests. Meanwhile, we will toast with a good Sicilian wine and taste some appetizers made with local products. I'll be waiting for you!

Cesarina from 2024Location: Palermo Languages: Italian, English, SpanishThe passion for cooking has been passed down to me by the women in my family. We cook with love. My curiosity has driven me to learn about the history of traditional Sicilian dishes and beyond, because wherever I am in the world, I seek to discover local recipes and their stories. I consider myself fortunate to be from Palermo because in Sicily, there is a good production of quality food and wine products, and our cuisine is never boring. I enjoy cooking and storytelling.
