    Veneto, the region of love, renowned for Venice and the immortal story of Romeo and Juliet. However, Veneto isn't just about love; it's also about delightful traditional cuisine. As a proud Venetian, I bring some of my region's dishes to Milan for you to relish. We'll start with polenta bruschetta topped with cured meats, seasonal herbs, and liver pâté, paired with a glass of Prosecco. Our journey continues with an ancient recipe: Venetian-style liver served with slices of oven-toasted or grilled yellow polenta. We'll end on a sweet note with "Torta Russa" (Russian Cake). This cake's story is tied to a Veronese pastry chef who fell in love with a Russian girl near Odessa and dedicated this dessert to her.

    I'm Riccardo, born in Veneto, but living in Milan for 19 years now. Having grown up in a family of farmers, I learned from an early age about the importance of quality products. It's not uncommon for the ingredients I use in my cooking to come directly from my home region or even from my own balcony: peeled tomatoes, rice, cheeses, salami, herbs, and many others. My favorite dishes to prepare for friends are those from the Venetian tradition. I love to delight their palates with pearà, Venetian-style liver, polenta bruschetta, tripe, radicchio or sausage and asiago risotto, Venetian-style cod, eggplant pie, Russian cake, pasta with farm-style ragù, and much more... Naturally, I don't limit myself to these, I also love to experiment with new dishes or combine different elements together.
