- We had the best time learning about Sicilian cuisine from Alice and her husband. Our family of 7 cooked and ate and enjoyed our time immensely. Such a welcoming host and authentic experience. Highly recommend and we hope to be back to Palermo again!!!
- We had a terrific time with Alice and Francesco. We prepared a vegetarian menu of panelle, pasta and dessert. All were delicious. Alice was very patient helping us figure out what to do and Francesco was a great host. The day concluded with a meal and great conversation. I really enjoyed the experience and the meal.
- Alice’s home was so quaint clean and welcoming! Food was delicious and her instructions were easily able To be followed. We felt right at home! In all it was an amazing experience that we will remember forever. Thank you Alice!
- Had a great experience and recommend this class to anyone who loves pasta. Hosts were friendly and explained all the steps.
- Alice is an amazing teacher. She is warm and welcoming and is truly a gifted chef. She gives you ample opportunity to craft the recipes yourself, so you leave with a very strong understanding of how to make traditional Sicilian pastas. She and Francesco are also deeply knowledgeable about the slow foods movement and gastronomy, and have invaluable insights into traditional cuisine in Sicily and Italy. This experience was a definite highlight of my trip, and the meal we enjoyed together in her lovely home was the best I had during my stay in Palermo. Absolutely recommend!
