  • Breads and Leavened Goods

In my kitchen inside the farmhouse in Pistoia's oldest nursery, with the help of just a few tools and an electric oven, you can learn how to make your own fresh bread at home in just three hours. During the class, I will guide you in the creation of two types of bread: the large loaf with a golden, crispy crust or sandwiches and Piadina Romagnola. You will learn the secrets of doughs, baking, shapes and textures. At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to enjoy your breads with us or take them home with the recipes and information provided during the class. I will also give you info on flours abroad. Don't miss the opportunity to create your own homemade bread and delight your palate with the authentic flavors of Italian baking!

What a beautiful individual filled with passion to share family customs and the skills in preparing pasta. Simplistic recipes with great potential and wonderful instruction. We highly recommend this class for embracing the art of preparation, the added knowledge of utilization for multiple presentations, and the warmth of the one-on-one atmosphere.

Excellent experience with Mrs. Luisa. Luisa, very hospitable and kind, guided us step by step in the preparation of some types of pasta and it was a very interesting and pleasant experience. To be repeated, thank you.

A wonderful cooking class in a warm, family-style atmosphere. Luisa was a thoughtful and attentive host, carefully listening also to our gluten-free dietary needs and making everyone feel truly welcome. Making fresh pasta together, surrounded by conversation and laughter, turned the experience into something authentic, inclusive, and genuinely special!

Luisa’s pasta class was authentic and beautiful! She invited you into her home, where she is excellent at explaining the traditional customs of pasta making. It felt like family and home and Tuscan hospitality all wrapped up into one. Bellissimo!

"I was born in Romagna, but now after more than 35 years in Pistoia my home is Tuscany. In the green, but a few kilometers from the station and the Piazza del Duomo. I have a creative and curious soul and in the kitchen, through the dishes of the Romagna and Tuscan tradition, I express at best my spirit of welcome. I love to make homemade pasta, bake bread, cook the classic desserts of the tradition."
