    I welcome you to my home in the hills of Bologna for a masterclass dedicated to true Italian gelato, in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by greenery. We will start by preparing fiordilatte, simple and perfect for discovering the secrets of artisanal gelato making. While the machine works, we will move on to the cream, and in the meantime you will enjoy a lemon sorbet, freshly prepared to enhance its fragrance. When the fiordilatte is ready, we'll kick off the cream and cut together fresh seasonal fruit. We will finish by tasting our fiordilatte gelato with Fabbri black cherries, typical of Bologna, and cream with drops of balsamic vinegar of Modena, accompanied by fresh fruit and a glass of wine. And to close, strawberries and Lambrusco!

    Roberta has a beautiful big house, her hospitality was great, we were with two youth girls and she gave big attention to their needs. the workshop was efficient and we got many tips.

    We had a wonderful cooking class with Roberta! She is a natural teacher and very patient; all five of us learned new techniques. After preparing delicious pasta and tiramisu, we ate dinner in the dining room of Roberta’s beautiful apartment. We highly recommend this experience, and will do it again when we return to Bologna.

    This was the highlight of our stay in Bologna! Roberta is a a great host, and we had such a fun evening cooking, feasting and chatting with a small group of fellow travellers wanting to learn the art of pasta. We made two types of fresh pasta and delicious tiramisu. Roberta is a good and knowledgeable teacher who made us feel right at home in her fabulous kitchen. Fun activity solo or as a couple. The aperitivo and wine were so good. We look forward to making these recipes for our family back home!
