Your experience

A warm welcome to my home in the hills of Bologna, where you can enjoy a unique culinary experience! In three hours, you will learn how to make tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù like a real sfoglina. You will discover the secrets of fresh pasta making, working the pasta sheet with a rolling pin, a symbol of Bolognese tradition. We will begin with a welcome appetizer, followed by the preparation of the ragout and noodles. After cooking the dish, we will taste it together, accompanied by selected local wines. We will end with a homemade dessert and a good coffee! My home, elegant and welcoming, is also accessible to people with reduced mobility. A perfect opportunity to discover Bolognese cuisine in an environment with attention to detail!

This lesson was incredible! Roberta was so so sweet and I learned so much from her. We made ragu alla bolognese and it was absolutely delicious. She also offered me wine and tiramisu! Highly recommend!!

Roberta was AMAZING and is a great teacher! She showed us how to make tagliatelle and tortelloni with spinach and ricotta filling. She made us a delicious piadina dish as an aperitivo which was absolutely delightful. We had great conversations about Italy, travel, cooking, and family. At the end of the experience, she shared some of her home made gelato which was divine! When we left her house, we were stuffed! Highly recommend doing any cooking class with her, you will not be disappointed

Roberta’s class exceeded expectations! She accomodated my vegetarian diet but made sure my husband’s wishes were met as well. We enjoyed local wine and specialties. Her kitchen was beautiful, spotless and well appointed. We learned so much and highly recommend!

Roberta was phenomenal and provided everything we hoped for in a Bolognese cooking class, and more. The ricotta and spinach ravioli, and tagliatelle and ragu with her direction was an easy contender for one of our favorite meals in Bologna. And sweet baby Jesus, her tiramisu was the almost forgotten cherry on top after we indulged in the fresh pasta courses, but not one of us left a single bite uneaten. The experience as a whole was so fun and Roberta was incredibly welcoming and accommodating to my family. The class was one of the highs of our whole trip.

I love my kitchen both as a space and as a working environment. I enjoy getting my hands in the dough to make pasta, including thin sheets and shortcrust pastry. Being Tuscan, my cuisine is a blend of Tuscan and Emiliana traditions. From the typical lasagna and tagliatelle to the classic Tuscan pappa al pomodoro, my kitchen represents a fusion of these regional influences. The journey through traditional flavors continues with favorites like tiramisu and the iconic Prato biscuits, perfect for dipping into Vin Santo. My kitchen reflects my passion for tradition and the joy of sharing these gastronomic pleasures with others.
