Take a seat at Cesarine's welcoming tables to savour forgotten recipes, preserved and handed down through generations.
During this cooking class at my home, Cesarina Rosa in the centre of Bologna, you will learn how to prepare a traditional Bolognese fresh pasta recipe and enjoy a two-course lunch or dinner at the end of the cooking class.
Tortelloni are one of my specialities, and I will reveal tips and secrets for making them to perfection in your own home... After this enjoyable "effort," we will sit down at the table to enjoy them, followed by meatballs (which I am the queen of) and ending with dessert... Wine? Of course!

- Words can't fully describe what an incredible experience our family [my husband, myself and our two children, ages 15 and 9] had cooking and connecting with Rosa on our recent trip to Bologna. This meal was truly a highlight of our entire vacation. Rosa was so welcoming and kind, and made us feel like family the moment we arrived at her home. We prepared several dishes together including bruschetta, lasagna and tagliatelle with ragu - she broke down each recipe step-by-step and made it very easy and accessible for each of us. What a joy to watch my teenage son rolling the tagliatelle pasta like a pro! We shared wine, stories and laughs throughout the evening - it was an instant connection, truly like visiting an old friend.
- We booked Rosa's "Let's cook together: tradition and fun in the kitchen" class for our family of 4 and had such a great time! Indeed it was an experience filled with plenty of tradition, and plenty of fun. Rosa was wonderful with the kids, generous, a total expert, and overall unforgettable. We'll treasure the time we spent in her kitchen, and we especially appreciated her ability to improvise and fix unexpected problems! We're so happy we made time during our vacation to meet and learn with her.

Rosa is extremely kind and teaches you everything very clearly, bringing the Italian tradition of homemade pasta to life. 100% recommended, it’s well worth it.
