Shared Experience
Your experience

Just a stone’s throw from the portico leading to the Sanctuary of San Luca, in a bright apartment with a usable terrace, I invite you to a cooking class dedicated to gnocchi. Together, we will prepare potato gnocchi, served both with the classic Bolognese ragù and with a surprising sweet topping, as is traditional in Veneto, my homeland. We will end on a sweet note with the classic tiramisu. Simple, convivial recipes, all ready to enjoy. Laurina, the Cesarina, is waiting for you to cook and eat together!

We had a great experience with Laura! She is a great teacher, cook, and hostess. We are grateful to have been welcomed into her home for such a genuine (and fun!) experience. For anyone looking for a impactful Bolognese experience, I would recommend it!

I was having a great pasta-making-experience with Laura and Antonio. It was a lot of fun to make the pasta and Laura and Antonio was great teatchers. They are so sweet and openminded people and the pasta was very good. I will recomend this experience to everbody who visits Bologna in the future. Thanks!!!

Laura and her son, Antonio, were great hosts for our cooking class. After introductions were made, Laura explained the process for preparing the tortellini dough. Then Laura and our grandson put together a chocolate cake while Antonio assisted my husband and me with mixing, rolling out, and scoring the tortellini dough. After that we all put together the tortellini with Laura’s and Antonio’s guidance. While Laura finished preparing the tortellini, the rest of us visited outside on their balcony. It was fun to learn how to prepare some traditional Italian food, plus we thoroughly enjoyed visiting and sharing our evening meal with Laura and Antonio. We plan on cooking and sharing these dishes with our own family and friends when we are back in the states. What a wonderful way to experience a bit of Italian culture. Thank you, Laura and Antonio.

We had a wonderful experience with Laura, who welcomed us and made us feel right at home, truly like family. She was very helpful and accommodating to all our requests. Together, we prepared fresh handmade pasta: tortellini, farfalle, and cocoa tagliatelle. Rolling out the dough by hand was fun, and Laura taught us many tricks and useful tips for achieving the perfect pasta. Furthermore, she provided us with all the recipes so that we can make them again at home. After cooking, we enjoyed everything we had prepared, accompanied by excellent food and wine. Laura and her partner were incredibly kind and friendly, entertaining us with stories and conversation, creating a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. It was an authentic, fun experience full of flavor, which we unhesitatingly recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to make real homemade pasta and enjoy a special moment.

My daughter and I had a fantastic cooking experience with Laura. She was so knowledgeable and welcoming and we really enjoyed making tagliatelle ragu. Afterwards It was lovely to share the food and wine with her and Antonio. Overall a most enjoyable experience.

I love cooking risottos, tagliatelle with ragù, carbonara, seafood pastas, as well as meat and fish prepared in different ways, and of course gratin vegetables and various desserts. I’m originally from Veneto, so I can also make baccalà, sweet gnocchi, and other delicacies typical of my region. I also enjoy “borrowing” recipes from other parts of Italy, especially Milanese risotto.
