- A great experience. I cannot say enough about it. I would highly recommend this. And best of all, we shared a home-cooked meal, made from our labor. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Best meal we've had in Italy.
- I booked three days in a row with Francesca. I learned to make pasta (Orecchiette, Cavatelli, and Maccheroni), as well as Tortellini and Ravioli with different fillings, and Pure di Fave with Cicorie and two different Focaccia. It was simply wonderful to cook these dishes together with Francesca. I learned a lot and am glad that Francesca is such a patient and empathetic "teacher." I felt very comfortable with her over these three days and can only recommend it.
- Francesca and the whole family welcomed us as if we were at home. They were very patient with the kids and taught us how to cook orecchiette and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended for a different experience. Ideal with children!
- Francesca provided a true Italian experience via her hospitality! The class was great; Francesca is a wonderful teacher. The pasta came out perfectly and it tasted even better. I will take what I learned today and use that information back home. I would definitely tell others who are looking for an authentic experience about Francesca!
- This was the BEST experience! My partner and I spoke only English and tried our best at Italian which Francesca helped us with. She is very kind and an excellent host! We talked a lot about pasta and tradition in Italy which was helpful for us since we just arrived the day before. We even had the opportunity to have lunch with her family and learned more about the differences in Italy and U.S. culture. This was definitely the best thing we could have done coming to Lecce. The experience was authentic and better than any tour we could have booked since we were able to ask all of the questions we were curious to know about outside of the structure of Lecce. I HIGHLY recommend booking an experience with Francesca. I felt so welcomed and a part of the family. They even appreciated our effort at speaking Italian, even though it was limited. I loved everything about this experience and I know you will too :)
